James Alan Hetfield was born in 1963 in U.S.A.. He is the co-founder of the group. James is the singer and Rhythmic guitarist of Metallica. The Flying V is the favorite instrument of James, and also he has 12 other guitars for different songs! The first contact of James and Lars was in 1981 because of the newspaper “The Recycler”. The song “Mama said” was for James mother, but see is now died of a cancer. Also James practices, skateboard, snowboard and hunting.
